We’ve noticed a few strange things lately. Firstly, the level of service you’ve been receiving from your own bookkeeper seems to be, if we may say so, a little under par. Expectations are just not being met. You just want your bookkeeping done well and you need to know what your numbers mean. And you want experienced people to do this for you so you don’t have to worry. Simple. That’s what we’re here for.
We also think the world has gone a little outsource crazy. Why, I hear you ask? Because it can make sense. We can do things cheaper, more efficiently and more effectively which, best of all, makes your life easier without you losing control. We have over 20 years experience in making lives easier.

Meet our Executive Team
Catherine Davis is the Founder and Managing Director of Urban Ledgers. Qualifying as a Chartered Accountant almost 20 years ago, she has had more years experience in accounting and finance than she’d care to mention. She also holds a host of other exciting finance and accounting qualifications*. Catherine believes that outstanding client service is paramount, as is being able to explain numbers in plain English.
Harley Coombes is Urban Ledgers’ Sales and Marketing guy. He also knows a couple of things about bookkeeping but generally doesn’t like to admit that. Harley’s expertise lies in design, marketing and all those other things that accountants sometimes aren’t so good at.
*For those of you who are interested, Catherine’s qualifications are: B.Business (Accountancy), Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), NZICA (Chartered Accountant), IMC, Grad. Diploma (Applied Finance and Investment), Certified Xero Partner.
